Board member

Dan Tymann, currently is a consultant for The FOCUS Group doing fundraising consulting for Christian non-profits. He brings more than 40 years of experience in non-profit and for-profit executive leadership, non-profit fundraising, process engineering, strategic planning, operations management, and quality principles. Dan had a successful 25 career in manufacturing leadership at AT&T, Lucent Technologies, and Cisco Systems, and in 2005 he felt called to be part of the mission of Gordon College where he was Executive Vice President for 19 years.

Dan has been serving on the Board of Directors at Portsmouth Christian Academy for 9 years (4 as Chair), as well as the boards of Miss Pink, Heritage Academy, First Loved and Project Mercy. Dan is a graduate of Tufts University with a BSEE. Dan and his wife of 41 years, Andrea attend The Table Church in Boston, MA and live with their daughter, Sarah and her husband Chris, and his two grandchildren, Samuel and Elizabeth Welch in Newbury, MA.
